*Lagan Canal : Initial Business Plan for a Partnership Organisation to Progress the Canal's Restoration*
The Lagan Canal connects Belfast to Lough Neigh and is integral to the all-Ireland waterways network. This report sets out the context, vision and case for restoring the Canal, provides an initial restoration programme and recommends the aims, roles, status, structure, staffing, costs and funding for a Lagan Canal Restoration Trust.
Cairngorms National Park *: Options for the Development of Ranger Services*
The Cairngorms National Park has 13 ranger services operated by public, private and voluntary organisations. This report to the NPA reviewed options for further development, enhanced cooperation and the strategic funding and oversight of these services, based on a review of current activities and future opportunities.
*Appraisal of the Countryside Access and Activities Network and Recommendations for the Future*
Peter Scott proposed the initial establishment and structure of a Northern Ireland-wide countryside access network. Subsequently, he reviewed CAAN and its operations and advised on strengthening its capabilities, funding and activities.
