Projects: Countryside Access | Coastal Access in Selected European Countries | This study (click for summary) identifies the contexts, traditions, legislation and management arrangements for access to/along the coasts of 8 European countries. As previous European studies by this consultancy, it provided evidence for national access policy debates and recommendations.
| | North West Coastal Trail – Concept Feasibility Study; Implementation Strategy | The Feasibility Study for a multi-use Coastal Trail from Chester to Carlisle identified policy and environmental contexts, routes, infrastructure requirements, user markets and organisational structures. The Implementation Strategy recommended investigations, project management and implementation programmes, funding sources and organisational structures.
| | Inverurie Paths Study and Strategy | This access and pilot core paths strategy for Inverurie and surrounding countryside and settlements included proposals for improving, managing and promoting multi-use paths, cycleways and quiet roads, based on surveys and community consultations.
