Nevis Strategy: Environmental and Visitor Management Strategy for the Nevis Area

| This strategy for conserving, managing and enhancing the Ben/Glen Nevis area was developed from a Vision for the Nevis Area based on ‘planning for real' consultations. Follow-up advice was provided on setting up the Nevis Partnership. The Strategy won a Scottish Executive/RTPI Quality in Planning Award and was commended in the 2002 UK Planning Awards. | National Parks and Other Protected Landscape Areas: options for establishing national parks and managing other outstanding landscapes in Northern Ireland Prepared for DoENI, this consultation paper reviewed landscape protection measures and identified potential aims, principles and criteria for national parks and duties, functions and organisational options for national park authorities in Northern Ireland. Also, it reviewed options for strengthening AONB management. |  |
Cairngorms National Nature Reserves: A Strategic Framework for Management and Interpretation
| The consultants reviewed the management and interpretation of the 9 NNRs in the Cairngorms and provided recommendations and an action programme to achieve more effective and collaborative conservation, visitor management and interpretation across the NNRs |
